Lincoln College softball coach John
Andrews said he's pleased with the selection. "Cassie is certainly
deserving of this award,"
said Andrews. “She is very
athletic and is always aware of what is going on in the game. She
just has great softball instincts."
Andrews had four other players recognized with honorable mention
to the Midwest Athletic Conference team. Kaylee West of Waynesville,
Kristi Tjarks of Saybrook, Cherie Lam of Rock Island and Carrie
Williams of Minier were named on the list.
