"Especially during
National Community Action Month, it's exciting to network and
learn from other Community Action agencies throughout [the state]

During the business meeting, the membership voted to change the
name of the organization to the Illinois Association of Community
Action agencies. The name change is an effort to clarify the
organization's role as a membership organization that serves the
Community Action network in Illinois by providing several services,
including advocacy and building member capacity.
CIEDC is a Community Action agency serving six central Illinois
counties: Menard, Mason, Logan, DeWitt, Piatt and Fulton.
