Lincoln Mustang season-opening game       Send a link to a friend

[May 19, 2007]  Lincoln Pony Association's Mustang League opened the baseball season on Wednesday with McDonald's and Shew's Homes playing against each other. McDonald's won the season-opening game 6-3.

For McDonald's, Andrew Coop went 1-for-1 with two runs scored; Kyle Fitzpatrick had two runs scored; Clay Olson had one hit and one RBI; Josh Mangano, aka R. Howard, had one RBI and one run scored; Levi Greiner had one run scored; and Aaron Butler had one hit.

The winning pitchers were Mangano, Coop, Butler, Fitzpatrick and Olson.

For Shew's Homes, Levi Curry had two hits, Griffin Pollock had one hit, Garrett Schreiner had one hit, and Dalton Presswood had one hit and two RBIs.
