Courageous,
joyful, grateful smiles and tears, hugs, holding hands, words
murmured with a genuine look straight into the eyes -- all these
were part of the Logan County Relay for Life celebration that took
place at Lincoln Christian College and Seminary on Saturday. This
year's event was the most financially successful yet, with over
$100,000 pledged through walks, auctions, luminary honorariums, food
sales, games and Sunday gourmet breakfast. But there is something so much more important that
happens than the money that is raised. When these family and friends
come together, the love, hope and gratitude that flow abundantly are
memorable for a lifetime.
