[May 23, 2007]  The Lincoln Public Library District announces its lineup of summer reading programs.

Library employee Marlene Perry readies the rocket ship to blast off on another reading adventure.

Children ages 6 months to 12 years can blast off for some fun with the "Mission Read: To the Library and Beyond" program. Registration runs from May 29 through June 2.

A summer reading program for teens will run June 4-July 14 and is planned by the library's Youth Advisory Council.

There's also reading fun for the grown-ups. The reading program for adults will be at the same time as the teen program, with weekly prizes and a grand prize drawing.

For information on these programs, visit the library at 725 Pekin St. or call 732-8878.
