Areas that will continue to have lane closures are as follows:

Champaign County:

US Route 136, 2.8 miles west of I-57; bridge replacement one lane traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals.

IL Route 47, 5 miles north of US 136; road closure for bridge replacement. A marked route detour is in effect.

I-57 at mile marker 233, construction of interchange with Curtis Road, both lanes in each direction open (Barriers are on both sides of the road closing off the shoulders northbound and southbound).

Alexander County:

US 60/62-South of Cairo of the Mississippi River-Bridge painting, one lane open, temporary signals in place.

Christian County:

IL 48 Northeast of Stonington-Stage Construction for box culvert installation-One lane traffic, controlled by temporary signals.

Clay County:

Route 45 north of Louisville- ¼ mile detour for pavement replacement.

Clinton County:

Old US Route 50 is closed at the Shoal Creek structure just east of the Breese city limits. A marked detour is in place utilizing St. Rose Road, New US Route 50 and Stolletown Road. This bridge project is scheduled to be completed and re-opened to traffic by September 2007.

Coles County:

I-57 milepost 193-new interchange construction, no lane restrictions.

Route 133 near Oakland-bridge replacement, one lane of traffic with signals.

Cook County:

Bishop Ford-There is reconstruction in South Holland-2 lanes in each direction from 159th to I-80. Ramp SB Ford (EB I-94) to WB I-80 (Tri-State Tollway) is open. Ramp from EB 159th to EB I-94 closed with Detour posted.

IL 394-there is reconstruction in Thornton/Lansing- SB IL-394 has all lanes (2) open south of I-80. NB IL-394 still 1 lane open between Thornton-Lansing Rd. and I-94. Ramp from WB I-80/94 to SB IL-394 is open.

Kingery- Reconstruction in Lansing/Thornton/South Holland/Hammond/Munster-3 lanes in each direction with some narrow lanes and lane shifts from Burnham Ave. to US 41 (Calumet Ave.) in Indiana. The ramps from northbound and southbound Calumet Ave. to westbound I-80/94 are open. Ramp from eastbound I-80/94 to northbound Calumet Ave (U.S. Rt. 41 North) is closed with detour posted. Ramp from EB I-80/SB I-294 to WB I-94 (Bishop Ford) closed w/detour posted. Ramp from WB I-80/94 to SB IL-394 is open.

IL 7 from 143rd to 135th- Bridge Reconstruction in Orland Park- Road closed w/ posted detour.

IL 50 (Cicero Avenue) over the North Branch of the Chicago River- Bridge Replacement in Chicago- One lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times.

IL 68 (Dundee Road) over US 14 and Union Pacific RR- Bridge replacement in Inverness and Palatine- One lane open in each direction.

Oakton Avenue over I-94-Bridge patching in Niles- One lane open in each direction.

Dan Ryan Expressway- Mainline reconstruction along the Dan Ryan is scheduled for completion in November 2007, weather permitting. Motorists can expect numerous lane and ramp closures. Consecutive ramps will not be closed.

The construction configuration along the inbound and outbound Dan Ryan Expressway is set, with the local lanes completely closed for reconstruction from 71st to 31st. There are now three lanes open from 95th to 71st, four lanes open from 71st to 31st and back to three lanes on the elevated section from 31st to Roosevelt Rd. The outbound and inbound elevated bridge placed into its construction configuration.

Oak Park Ave- Widening and Resurfacing in Oak Park- SB Oak Park Ave closed

(159th Street) to Justamere Road.

LaPorte Rd. from Wolf Rd. to Anna St. Resurfacing, Pavement Reconstruction in Mokena- Westbound LaPorte Rd. is closed from Schoolhouse to Kirkstone.

Grand Avenue- Roadway Reconstruction in Franklin Park- One lane open in each direction.

Lively Blvd. From Pratt to Touhy-Roadway reconstruction in Elk Grove Village-NB only open from Pratt to Touhy.

DeWitt County:

Route 51, 2 miles north of Clinton; bridge repair work in the northbound lanes only, one lane of traffic maintained across the structure.

IL Route 10, 0.2 mile west of US 51; road closure for bridge replacement. A marked state route detour is in effect.

US Route 51 one mile north of Clinton, reconstruction of intersection with township road 125, one lane open for northbound traffic.

Douglas County:

US Route 45 at Tuscola, road closure for bridge replacement. A marked state route detour is in effect.

DuPage County:

Bloomingdale Road at IL 19-Widening and reconstruction in Itasca-IL 19 reduced to one lane in each direction.

Effingham County:

I-57 & 70 milepost 162, overpass bridge work, no lane restrictions.

Fulton County:

IL Route 97 between Cuba and Lewistown is reduced to one lane for bridge replacement, controlled by signals

Grundy County:

Interstate 55-2 miles south of Gardner-Bridge painting, one lane open in each direction.

Ashley Road over I-80-Bridge replacement, road is closed, detour is posted.

Hardin County:

IL 34-2.1 miles south of Herod-bridge signals

IL 34-146- 1.5 miles east of IL 146-bridge signals

IL 1-2 miles south of Gallatin Co.-bridge signals

Henry County:

IL 81 in Kewanee-The roadway is closed from ILL 78 for five blocks westerly for removal and replacement of the street pavement. ILL 81 is detoured around the construction area in city streets.

Jefferson County:

IL 15-1 miles west of Mt. Vernon-One lane is open for bridge construction. Temporary signals are in place.

IL 15-4 miles east of Mt. Vernon- One lane is open for bridge construction. Temporary signals are in place.

Kane County:

North Avenue at Randall Road-Widening and Resurfacing in St. Charles-Two lanes open in each direction on North Avenue and Randall.

IL 47 over I-88-Bridge replacement in Blackberry Township-IL 47 reduced to one lane in each direction.

Orchard Road and Jericho Road-Roadway Reconstruction in Kane County-One lane open in each direction.

Wilson Street Bridge over the Fox River-Bridge reconstruction in Batavia-One lane in each direction on north half of the bridge.

Kankakee County:

US 45/52-2 miles south of I-57-bridge deck replacement, one lane open and controlled by signals.

Lake County:

IL 176 (Rockland Rd.) over US 41 (Skokie Hwy.)- Bridge Replacement in Lake Bluff-There will be lane closure on Rte. 176 but one lane in each direction will remain open to traffic at all times.

IL 22 (Half Day Rd.) from IL 83 Mundelein Rd. to US 45/21- Roadway Reconstruction in Buffalo Grove, Long Grove, Lincolnshire- One lane in each direction with turn lanes at intersections. Tight right turn radius at Prairie Rd. & Main St. on IL 22. 100% of the project has been placed on new pavement of stage 1.

IL 120 at Hunt Club Road- Roadway Reconstruction in Gurnee-The WB lanes will be reduced from two to one lane. Temporary concrete Barrier Wall and Temporary Impact attenuator will be installed to enhance the safety of the Motoring Public and Construction Personnel at this location.

IL 22 from Beusching to Quentin Rd.- Roadway widening and reconstruction in Lake Zurich- One lane in each direction with turn lanes at intersections. Traffic on new pavement west of Quentin Rd to east project limits. Traffic switch to new pavement from west of Quentin to Beusching Road scheduled week of December 18th.

IL 22 to Beusching Rd..-Patching in Lake Zurich- One lane in each direction.

Half Day road bridge over the Skokie River-Bridge removal and replacement in Highland Park- One lane in each direction, controlled by temporary signals over the Memorial Day weekend.

Butterfield Rd. from Hardin Ave. to IL 137- Reconstruction & Widening in Libertyville- One lane open in each direction.

Buffalo Grove Rd. over Indian Creek- Bridge Reconstruction in Vernon Hills and Buffalo Grove- One lane in each direction. Possible weight restrictions.

LaSalle County:

I-39, MP 55, Deck replacement on the Abe Lincoln Bridge, One lane open each direction.

US 6, ½ mile west of Illinois 39, Bridge deck replacement, One lane open, controlled by signals.

ILL 71, Starved Rock State Park, Bridge replacement, Road closed, Detour posted.

ILL 178, 2 miles south of US 6, Bridge replacement, One lane open, controlled by signals.

Livingston County:

US 24, ½ mile west of Illinois 47, Bridge deck repairs, One lane open, controlled by signals.

ILL 17, 4 miles east of Dwight, Bridge deck replacement, One lane open, controlled by signals.

Logan County:

IL 10 West of New Holland. Stage Construction for bridge construction. One lane traffic, controlled by temporary signals.

Marshall County:

IL 17-west of Sparland is reduced to one lane for Bridge replacement, controlled by signal.

Macoupin County:

IL 108 at Hodges Creek 2.6 miles East of the Greene County line. One lane traffic, controlled by temporary signals.

Madison County:

Staged construction utilizing temporary traffic signals will be encountered along Illinois Route 143 just west of Interstate 70. This lane restriction is necessary to replace the existing bridge beams on the structure carrying Illinois Route 143 over Sugar Fork Creek. The project is expected to be completed by June 2007.

Staged construction utilizing temporary traffic signals will be encountered along Illinois Route 143 just west of Interstate 55. This lane restriction is necessary to replace the existing bridge beams on the structure carrying Illinois Route 143 over Mooney Creek. The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2007.

McDonough County:

US 67 near Industry, New Bridge Construction, reduced to one lane, controlled by signals

McHenry County:

Streit Road over the North Branch of the Kishwaukee River-Bridge replacement in Harvard-Bridge closed. Advance warning posted.

McLean County:

IL Route 9, ½ mile east of I-55/74 in Bloomington, bridge repair work both eastbound and northbound, one lane of traffic maintained in each direction.

Peoria County:

Interstate 474, at IL Route 6 and I-74 interchange. Eastbound and Westbound reduced to two lanes for bridge repair work.

Pope County:

.25 miles east of IL 145-One lane open for bridge construction. Temporary signals are in place.

Putnam County:

IL 71 is closed 3 ½ mile west of Il Route 89 for bridge replacement, traffic detoured to IL 26 south to IL 18 east to IL 89 and then north to IL 71 when traveling east and to IL 89 south to IL 18 west to IL 26 north to IL 71.

Randolph County:

Staged construction utilizing temporary traffic signals will be encountered along Illinois Route 154 approximately 3.5 miles west of Sparta. This lane restriction is necessary to replace the existing bridge beams on the structure carrying Illinois Route 154 over Plum Creek. The project is expected to be completed by the Fall of 2007.

Rock Island County:

IL 92 over Mill Creek 0.4 miles north of Andalusia Road-ILL 92 is restricted to one lane in each direction as the bridge decks are rehabilitated one half at a time.

Poppy Garden Road over I-80 east of Colona-Poppy Garden Road is closed as the bridge over I-80 has been removed for replacement with a new structure. Traffic is detoured on US 6.

Saline County:

US 45-In Eldorado at Intersection that meets with IL 142-reconstruction at intersection, no turn lanes are available.

IL 13-In Harrisburg on Veteran’s Drive-Local city street closed for construction.

IL 34-N. Edge of Harrisburg- at small street- bridge signals

IL 34-1.7 miles north of Harrisburg- bridge signals

Sangamon County:

IL 104 4 miles West of Auburn. Stage Construction for box culvert construction. One lane traffic, controlled by temporary signals.

Stark County:

Il 91 over Jack Creek north of Toulon is closed. Traffic detour is posted.

St. Clair County:

Westbound I-55/70/64 ramp to southbound Tudor Avenue is closed for deck repairs. Motorists traveling westbound on I-55/70/64 wanting to travel southbound to Tudor Avenue should follow the marked detour to Seventh Street in St. Louis, Missouri. This ramp is scheduled to be completed and opened by October 31, 2007.

Construction will be encountered along Illinois Route 161 just south of Lincoln Trail in Fairview Heights. Southbound traffic will be shifted into the northbound lane restricting traffic to one lane in each direction. Concrete barrier wall will be used to separate the north and south bound traffic across the existing bridge.

A lane shift and restriction will be encountered along Illinois Route 161 just west of Illinois Route 159 in Fairview Heights. The project is scheduled to be completed by December 2007.

A lane shift and restriction will be encountered along Illinois Route 13/15 just east of Green Mount Road. The project is scheduled to be completed by the Fall of 2008.

Staged construction utilizing temporary traffic signals will be encountered along Illinois Route 158/177 just east of North Green Mount Road near Belleville. This lane restriction is necessary to replace the existing structure carrying Illinois Route 158/177 over Loop Creek. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2007.

Scott Drive will be closed at the south entrance to Scott Air Force Base (Belleville Gate). This road closure is necessary to replace the existing structure carrying Scott Drive over Ash Creek. Motorists traveling to Scott Air Force Base should use Seibert Road (Shiloh Gate) or Patriots Drive (Patriots Landing Gate). The project is expected to be completed by June 15, 2007.

Lane width restrictions will be encountered along Illinois Route 159 just north of the Belleville square and south of Illinois Route 161 in Belleville beginning on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, weather permitting. The work with be completed in three stages and one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Concrete barrier wall will be used to separate the north and south bound traffic across the existing bridge. These lane width restrictions are needed to replace the bridge deck and work is to be completed by November of 2007.

Tazewell County:

IL Route 29 in North Pekin Northbound and Southbound reduced to one lane for bridge replacement.

IL Route 98 is closed 3 ½ mile East of Route 29 for bridge replacement, traffic detoured to IL 29 to IL 9 to I-155 if traveling east and I-155 to IL 9 to IL 29 when traveling west.

IL 122 east of Minier, reduced to one lane for bridge replacement, controlled by signal.

Vermilion County:

US Route 136 (E. Main St. in Danville); road reconstruction work continues, one lane traffic in each direction will be maintained.

US Route 136; 1 mile north of Danville, road closure, bridge replacement. A marked detour is in effect.

US Route 150; 0.2 mile south of Georgetown, bridge replacement, one lane traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals.

Washington County:

Staged construction utilizing temporary traffic signals will be encountered along Illinois Route 15 approximately 1 mile east of Illinois Route 127. This lane restriction is necessary to replace the existing bridge beams on the structure carrying Illinois Route 15 over Nashville Creek. The project is expected to be completed by the Summer of 2007.

Staged construction utilizing temporary traffic signals will be encountered along Illinois Route 177 approximately 1 mile east of Hoyleton. This lane restriction is necessary to replace the existing bridge beams on the structure carrying Illinois Route 177 over Grand Point Creek. The project is expected to be completed by the Summer of 2007.

White County:

US 45-1.5 miles south of Mill Shoals-bridge signals

Whiteside County:

US 30 bridge over the Mississippi River between Fulton, IL and Clinton, Iowa. Traffic is restricted to one lane and controlled by temporary traffic signals while the structure is being painted one half at a time. Traffic is encouraged to use the ILL 136 bridge one mile to the north to avoid the delays at the US 30 bridge.

Will County:

US 30 from Essington to Larkin- Reconstruction in Crest Hill and Joliet-2 lane in each direction with a center turn lane.

159th Street (US Route 6) under CNRR Bridge- Bridge reconstruction in Harvey- Road Closed between Park Ave and Center Street mid to June 1, 2007. The detour route is as follows: Dixie Highway to Sibley Blvd. (IL route 83) to Halsted (IL Route 1).

I-55 from I-80 to Weber- Bridge and Interchange Reconstruction in Troy Township- Lane shifts, narrow lanes, drop in speed limit to 55 mph at various work zone locations. There will be occasional nighttime lane closures.

Winnebago County:

ILL 2 at Clifton Avenue near the south edge of Rockford- ILL 2 is reduced to one lane in each direction as the four lane roadway is being replaced one half at a time for reconstruction of the intersection to widen the pavement and add turn lanes.

ILL 75 bridge over Timothy Creek near Harrison-Bridge deck replacement restricts traffic to one lane controlled by traffic signals.
