Heather Hill DeLoriea of Atlanta received the Hilda Humphreys
memorial scholarship for $2,000 to further her doctorate studies in
physical therapy at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. She
is a 2003 graduate of Olympia High School and earned a bachelor's
degree in psychology from St. Ambrose in May 2006.
Roberta "Bobbi"
Green was awarded the $2,000 Eva Jean Owen McCollum memorial
scholarship to continue her studies at ISU's Mennonite College of
Nursing. After working as an R.N., she plans to pursue nurse
anesthetist training. She is a 2004 graduate of Lincoln Community
High School and a 2006 Lincoln College graduate. Her parents are
Stephanie Sablotny and Brian Green.
Jill Patrick, a 2007 graduate of Lincoln Community High School,
earned a $1,000 scholarship to begin pharmacy studies at Drake
University. She is the daughter of Mike and Janet Patrick of rural
New Holland.

Andrea Cross was awarded $750 to continue her nursing studies at
Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. The 2005 Hartsburg-Emden
graduate is preparing for a surgical nursing career. She is the
daughter of Jay and Christy Cross of Emden.
Recent Mount Pulaski High School graduate Allison Durchholz was
awarded $750 to begin pharmacology studies at the St. Louis College
of Pharmacy. She is the daughter of Don and Teresa Durchholz of
Elkhart.
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital is a community-based general
hospital serving the people of Logan and eastern Mason County.
