[November 06, 2007]  The Lincoln Jaycees are now accepting reservations for their annual Senior Feast. The Jaycees will serve a free holiday-style meal with dessert on Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 2022 N. Kickapoo St.

The free meal is available to the first 100 seniors (60 years and up) who make a reservation. To make a reservation, please call Jennifer Steele at 217-871-7981 as soon as possible.

The Lincoln Jaycees, a not-for-profit organization that serves Lincoln and the surrounding communities, gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service and international connections. The Lincoln Jaycees host various community activities, such as an Easter egg hunt, the Senior Feast and Angel Tree. The group has a variety of management and fundraising projects, such as Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival vendor sales, a Halloween haunted house and Lincoln Speedway 50/50.
