"Having a regional team in place to
work with Eaton's operating groups ensures quicker response to
market opportunities in this growing region," said James E. Sweetnam,
Eaton senior vice president and Truck Group president. Sweetnam is
responsible for Eaton's Latin American and Caribbean regional
business. The regional office will primarily house business
support functions, including human resources, finance, supply chain
management, environment, health and safety, information technology,
communications, and marketing.
"We are fortunate to have someone with Alfonso's background in
this role," Sweetnam said. "I'm confident his regional knowledge and
diverse Eaton experience will help drive our success in this
important geographic area."
