Soybeans Rise on CBOT; Livestock Gains

[November 14, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Soybean futures jumped higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while other agricultural futures slipped lower.

Wheat for December delivery fell 15 cents to $7.46 a bushel; December corn lost 4.75 cents to $3.7425 a bushel; December oats dipped 1.5 cents to $2.84 a bushel; January soybeans rose 10.75 cents to $10.57 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.47 cent to 95.57 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.28 cent to $1.0925 a pound; December lean hogs gained 1.5 cents to 54.05 cents a pound; February pork bellies added 2.75 cents to 89.92 cents a pound.
