Soybean Futures Jump on CBOT

[November 15, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Soybean futures jumped sharply Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while wheat and corn prices also rose.

Wheat for December delivery rose 4.5 cents to $7.525 a bushel; December corn rose 8.25 cents to $3.83 a bushel; December oats closed flat at $2.865 a bushel; January soybeans jumped 23.25 cents to $10.795 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.07 cent to 95.5 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.25 cent to $1.09 a pound; December lean hogs dipped 0.6 cent to 53.45 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.42 cents to 88.5 cents a pound.
