Chili Supper Benefit

[November 17, 2007] A chili supper and bake sale benefit will be held Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1140 N. State in Lincoln, from 3 to 6 p.m. Proceeds will go to Dan Brown.

Chili and vegetable soup, sides, dessert, and drink will be available for a $5 donation.

Items for sale will include cakes, cookies and noodles, as well as craft items.

This event is being assisted by the Thrivent chapter in Logan County, with funds from Thrivent Financial. A Fortune 500 company, Thrivent Financial is represented locally by Linda Aper. The Logan County group has David Coers as president this year.
