STANFORD -- The Olympia High School Music
Department announces its 18th annual Madrigal Feaste, scheduled for Nov. 30 and
Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m., in the OHS gymnasium.

Over 130 students are in
the cast, which includes singers, dancers, beggars, brass and
woodwind players, recorders, minstrel, actors, vendors, and mimes.
The singers are directed by Debbie Aurelius-Muir, and the drama is
under the direction of Wendy Wade. In his final madrigal
presentation, the instrumentalists are led by Marty Abbott. The
incredible period costumes are headed by Chris Thomas.
A short play, entitled "The Changing of the Guard," will be
presented in addition to the many traditional carols and traditional
madrigal music. The OHS Chamber Singers are featured. They are an
auditioned group of student singers who practice outside the regular
school day.
The dinner menu includes appetizers, homemade breads, salade,
roast beef au jus, parsley potatoes and ye olde greene beanes.
This enjoyable evening of entertainment and dining is $18 per

All proceeds support the music program of the Olympia Unit School
District 16.
