The varsity team had five varsity champions, led by the double wins
of Cameron Kurtz in impromptu and extemporaneous. Other first-place
winners were Janel Filbeck in oratory, Taylor Muck and Stephanie
Holford in humorous duet acting, and Annie Sheley in radio speaking.
Other varsity finalists were Cody Follis and Kaylyn Engelhardt,
fourth in dramatic duet acting; Lorenda Kirby and Rebecca Kasa,
fifth in dramatic duet; Todd Schumacher, second in dramatic
interpretation and fourth in original comedy; Hailey Cooper, third,
and Stephanie Holford, fourth, in humorous interpretation; Kaylyn
Engelhardt and Kelly Knecht, third in humorous duet; Cody Follis,
second in prose; Janel Filbeck, third, and Raeann Sheley, sixth in
declamation; Rebecca Kasa, sixth in radio speaking; and Kelly Knecht,
second, Annie Sheley, third, and Raeann Sheley, sixth, in special
occasion.
The team also had three novice winners: Katy Langdon in verse,
Hailey Adams in oratory and Emily Harms in original comedy.
Other novice finalists were Katy Langdon, third in dramatic
interpretation; Abby Parmenter, seventh in declamation and fifth in
special occasion; Haley Adams, fifth in radio; Emily Harms and
Trevor Arrington, fifth in humorous duet; Trevor Arrington, fourth
in extemporaneous; Kate Harmon, fifth in oratory and seventh in
impromptu; and Kelsie Plummer, sixth in humorous interpretation.
