[November 27, 2007]  STANFORD -- The Olympia High School Music Department announces its 18th annual Madrigal Feaste, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the OHS gymnasium.

Over 130 students are in the cast, which includes singers, dancers, beggars, brass and woodwind players, recorders, minstrel, actors, vendors, and mimes.

The singers are directed by Debbie Aurelius-Muir, and the drama is under the direction of Wendy Wade. The instrumentalists are led by Marty Abbott, in his final madrigal presentation. The incredible period costumes are headed by Chris Thomas.

A short play entitled "The Changing of the Guard" will be presented in addition to the many traditional carols and traditional madrigal music. The OHS Chamber Singers, an auditioned group of student singers who practice outside the regular school day, will be featured.

The dinner menu includes appetizers, homemade breads, salade, roast beef au jus, parsley potatoes and ye olde greene beanes.

This enjoyable evening of entertainment and dining is $18 per person. Reservations are required. Please call 309-392-2357 for information and ticket reservations.

All proceeds support the music program of Olympia Unit School District 16.
