Wheat, soybean prices rise on Board of Trade

[October 02, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures ended in a mixed range Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 13.5 cents to close at $9.525 a bushel; December corn fell 4.25 cents to $3.6875 a bushel; December oats dipped 0.75 cent to $2.89 a bushel; November soybeans added 0.25 cent to $9.915 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 1.20 cents to 98.60 cents a pound; November feeder cattle fell 1.67 cents to $1.1495 a pound; December lean hogs dropped 2.70 cents to 59.55 cents a pound; February pork bellies declined 2.25 cents to 87.42 cents a pound.
