[October 03, 2007]EUREKA -- The Preachers won
their first soccer game of the season Tuesday afternoon as they
defeated Eureka College 3-2. LCC trailed 2-0 at the half and rallied
for three goals in the second half as they held Eureka to only two
shots on goal during the second period.
John Merritt had two goals and Sam Rosa had one for the
victorious Preachers.
LCC is now 1-8 and will play again Saturday, when they will host
Principia.
