Ebenezer Ladies Aid hosts fall spectacular  Send a link to a friend

[October 05, 2007]  McLEAN -- The Ebenezer Ladies Aid will host its third annual fall dinner and auction on Oct. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mount Hope Funks Grove Park District building in McLean.

Enter a fall wonderland and enjoy a pork barbecue dinner, including cheese potatoes, cowboy baked beans, coleslaw, pie or cake, and a drink. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m.

Running simultaneously, there will be a bake sale and silent auction. The bake sale will feature homemade pies, cakes, coffeecakes, noodles and candies: fudge, caramels, toffee and more. The silent auction will offer gift baskets, gift certificates and specially crafted items. At 7 p.m., the winning bidders of the silent auction items will be announced.

Throughout the evening, enjoy the music of the Bloomington Barbershop Quartet and violinist Noah S. Larson.

The "Children's Corner" will keep the younger set busy with face painting, fall craft projects and beanbag toss.

Join the festivities for a fun and entertaining evening.
