NORMAL -- Illinois State
defensive tackle Nick Williams will serve a one-game suspension this
weekend and will not travel with the Redbird football team to
Missouri State, due to a violation of team rules, according to head
coach Denver Johnson.

"Our rules are standard, in that, when they're broken, our guys have
to be prepared to face the repercussions," Johnson said. "Nick
understands and accepts that." Williams has played in every game
this season and started the first three games of the season. He has
collected six tackles on the year, including two solo stops. He has
also registered a quarterback hurry.
