Changes allow for more dental appointments

[March 19, 2010]  The HOPE Mobile, which provides rural health care for all ages and dental care for youth throughout Logan County, has announced its schedule for October through December.

One major change has been made to the scheduling to provide more time in Lincoln in order to schedule dental cleanings. HOPE will be at the Lincoln Park District on the third Friday afternoon (in place of Broadwell).

The unit will continue to be in Broadwell on the first Friday afternoon of each month.

In the future, when there is a fifth Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, the mobile unit will be at Lincoln Park District.

Information and appointments can be made by calling 217-732-5066.

The name HOPE stands for health care, oral health, prevention and education. The mobile unit is sponsored through the Rural Health Task Force of the Healthy Communities Partnership.
