New rehearsal dates for Mason City Community Choir

[October 16, 2007]  MASON CITY -- Many new things are in the works for the Mason City Area Community Choir. With the sesquicentennial behind us, the group is looking forward to many opportunities and discussing new music and new venues, including performances locally and at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum.

The holidays are fast approaching, including Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Presidents Day. Music is a labor of love and surely welcomed at this time of year. Please attend the community choir and share the fellowship and fun we have spreading our joyous love of music.

Please contact Bonnie Knieriem and let her know what your interests are, whether you would like to be in the choir, do special solos or be in small ensembles such as madrigals, barbershop or others. So, come one, come all! Everyone high school age and older is welcome. The love of music is something that doesn't diminish as we grow older. Come share the music, the fun and fellowship.
