[November 30, 2007]  The city of Lincoln has a new feature on their website. Video’s clips depicting the community were recently completed and added.

A company that does community promotions came to town to film some of the interesting aspects of our community. Part of the package included getting sponsors and placing banners throughout the community. Attractive black, white and red banners went up this summer.

The five video clips on the Web promote Lincoln, showing some of our historic sites, economic opportunities, health facilities, higher learning, community theater and other entertainment, sports and fitness opportunities, and special events, including the Railsplitter, the Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival, and the Art of Wine.

You can find information on the city of Lincoln and its government and see the video clips at www.cityoflincoln-il.gov.
