Agriculture futures decline on CBOT          Send a link to a friend

[October 17, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell broadly Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 5 cents to $8.285 a bushel; December corn lost 1.5 cents to $3.605 a bushel; December oats dropped 2 cents to $2.76 a bushel; November soybeans gave up 9.5 cents to $9.775 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures retreated on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle dipped 0.57 cent to 97.4 cents a pound; November feeder cattle shed 0.7 cent to $1.1252 a pound; December lean hogs lost 0.6 cent to 57.72 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.18 cent to 85.07 cents a pound.
