[October 18, 2007]  Two Lincoln College students have been awarded the R.W. Garrett Insurance Scholarship at Lincoln College. Adam Febre of Naperville and Mark Luttrell of Lincoln are this year's recipients.

Luttrell, a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Community High School, is the son of Michelle Shane of Lincoln. He has achieved academic honors and was named on the fall 2006 and spring 2007 semester Special Honors List. He is currently studying liberal arts courses and plans to continue his education at Bradley University to study business.

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to students who have graduated from an area high school and are in good academic standing. Roger Garrett, owner of the R.W. Garrett Insurance Agency, established the scholarship to support students who show academic potential.
