Wheat prices jumped to the limit allowed by the Chicago Board of Trade on Friday, while soybean prices declined.Wheat for December delivery rose 30 cents, the daily maximum, to $8.555 a bushel; December corn rose 3 cents to $3.7025 a bushel; December oats a bushel; November soybeans fell 8.25 cents to $9.8325 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures finished mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle rose 0.4 cent to 97.3 cents a pound; November feeder cattle fell 0.92 cent to $1.113 a pound; December lean hogs lost 0.45 cent to 56.92 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 0.43 cent to 83.4 cents a pound.
