House Bill 1519

Concerning: Local government

Description: Extends the life of the tax increment financing for four different TIF districts: Manteno, Chicago Heights, Rosemont and Stone Park.

Senate Bill 766

Concerning: State government

Description: Creates the High Speed Internet Services and Information Technology Act. Also allows the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to fund a nonprofit organization to implement a comprehensive, statewide strategy for broadband deployment, including infrastructure grants.

Effective: Immediately
