Corn, soybean futures advance on CBOT   Send a link to a friend

[October 26, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Corn and soybean futures climbed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while wheat futures fell.

Wheat for December delivery dropped 9 cents to $8.02 a bushel; December corn rose 9.75 cents to $3.6625 a bushel; December oats rose 3.5 cents to $2.78 a bushel; January soybeans added 18.75 cents to $10.125 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures ended mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.38 cent to 96.25 cents a pound; November feeder cattle fell 0.05 cent to $1.1045 a pound; December lean hogs lost 0.75 cent to 54.6 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 0.4 cent to 80.52 cents a pound.
