Thompkins dismissed from ISU football team

NORMAL -- Micha Gordon and
Cameron Thompkins were each dismissed from the Illinois State
football team Thursday, according to Redbird head coach Denver
Johnson.

Since Sept. 29, the two former players served an indefinite
suspension from the team for violating team rules.
Gordon, a sophomore, played in three games for the Redbirds this
season and posted two special teams tackles. Thompkins, a true
freshman, did not see any game action.
