Corn, Soybean Prices Rise on CBOT          Send a link to a friend

[October 27, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade, as corn and soybean prices advanced. Wheat fell.

Wheat for December delivery dipped 2 cents to close at $8 a bushel; December corn rose 5.75 cents to $3.72 a bushel; December oats rose 0.5 cent to $2.785 a bushel; January soybeans rose 0.75 cent to $10.1325 a bushel.

Beef futures fell, while pork futures ended mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 1.13 cents to 95.12 cents a pound; November feeder cattle lost 1.4 cents to $1.0905 a pound; December lean hogs dropped 0.08 cent to 54.52 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 3 cents to 83.52 cents a pound.
