Recalls: Digital Printers, Patio Sets

[October 31, 2007]  (AP) -- The following recalls have been announced:

  • About 400 digital color printers of the C9600 series, manufactured by Oki Data Corp. in Japan, because the printers have an electrical problem that could result in electrical shock to consumers. No injuries have been reported. The printers were sold at OKI Printing Solutions dealers and Solution Providers nationwide from August 2005 through September 2007.   • About 40,000 home patio sets, imported by Target and manufactured in China, because the set's chairs can collapse when weight is applied to the front ends of the arm rests, posing a fall hazard to consumers. Target has received 35 reports of chairs collapsing, resulting in 18 injuries including bruising to the back, hips, shoulders and arms, and finger lacerations. The recalled patio set includes a table, an umbrella and four chairs. The chairs and the umbrella have a black aluminum frame covered with a beige fabric.
