Asperger syndrome support group meets Thursday

[September 04, 2007]  SPRINGFIELD -- Asperger Syndrome Support and Awareness of Central Illinois will meet on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the University of Illinois at Springfield.

The meeting will be facilitated by Karen Kirkendall, Ph.D., associate professor at UIS, who has a specialty in developmental disabilities.

The group will meet in the VPA Building, Room 152.

Parking is very close to the entrance. Enter at Lot A, on the east side of the university; pull into the parking lot and take a sharp turn to your right; then drive forward until you reach the metal buildings; then take a left and park at the west end of the parking lot. Walk up the pathway and go to the first building on your right.
