Drivers beware: Harvest traffic on Logan County highways           Send a link to a friend

[September 04, 2007]  As we begin another harvest season, the Logan County Highway Department reminds the traveling public to be aware of the increased farm traffic on our roadways. Farm traffic may be entering and exiting the roadway away from intersections. Many of these vehicles will be traveling at reduced speeds.

For those who will be hauling commodities, please be aware of the posted weight limits on roads and bridges. The maximum weight limit for all county highways is 73,280 pounds. For further information on laws pertaining to weight limits, please visit www.co.logan.il.us/highwaydept/.
