Agriculture futures decline          Send a link to a friend

[September 07, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 11.5 cents to $8.24 a bushel; December corn fell 6.5 cents to $3.3925 a bushel; December oats dropped 2 cents to $2.605 a bushel; November soybeans fell 10.5 cents a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.25 cent to 96.8 cents a pound; September feeder cattle rose 0.25 cent to $1.1915 a pound; October lean hogs added 0.1 cent to 66 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 0.47 cent to 88.3 cents a pound.
