Wheat, soybeans climb higher          Send a link to a friend

[September 11, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat and soybean prices climbed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery jumped 17.5 cents to $8.61 a bushel; December corn fell 1.5 cents to $3.46 a bushel; December oats rose 4 cents to $2.6775 a bushel; November soybeans climbed 12.75 cents to $9.18 a bushel.

Beef futures finished mixed, while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.4 cent to 95.7 cents a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.13 cent to $1.1845 a pound; October lean hogs 0.15 cent to 66.45 cents a pound; February pork bellies edged up 0.1 cent to 87.1 cents a pound.
