[September 12, 2007]  The Route 66 Heritage Foundation of Logan County will have a "drive along" tour of Route 66 on Saturday and Sunday. All interested parties should meet at the West Gate of the Logan County Fairgrounds, in their vehicles, at 1 p.m. The caravan will leave promptly at 1 and begin the tour of Logan County's Route 66 attractions.

The tour both days will take the participants through the length of the county, from Atlanta to Elkhart, along Route 66. You'll even get to see some of the hidden treasures of the county. Geoff Ladd, chairman of the Route 66 Heritage Foundation of Logan County, and Carl Johnson, Route 66 historian, will be on hand to answer questions and help guide you along the way.
