Wheat, oat, soybean prices up on CBOT     Send a link to a friend

[September 12, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat and soybean prices rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery jumped 29.5 cents to $8.905 a bushel; December corn fell 4.75 cents to $3.4125 a bushel; December oats rose 2.5 cents to $2.7025 a bushel; November soybeans climbed 2.5 cents to $9.205 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures finished mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle finished unchanged at 95.7 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 0.13 cent to $1.1832 a pound; October lean hogs fell 0.60 cent to 65.85 cents a pound; February pork bellies edged down 0.28 cent to 86.82 cents a pound.
