[September 14, 2007]  Jefferson Street Christian Church invites the community of Lincoln to the first-ever Illinois National Guard "Tying the Yellow Ribbon" community event. The gathering will be Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at 1700 N. Jefferson.

The purpose of this event is to learn ways a community can care for and support the fine men and women of our armed forces. Hear firsthand from Illinois Army National Guard soldiers how you can support Illinois service members.
