Wheat prices climb on CBOT          Send a link to a friend

[September 18, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 29 cents to close at $8.75 a bushel; December corn added 3.25 cents to $3.5225 a bushel; December oats gained 1.75 cents to $2.825 a bushel; November soybeans jumped 13.75 cents to $9.685 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.28 cent to 94.97 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 1.35 cent to $1.155 a pound; October lean hogs lost 0.53 cent to 65.02 cents a pound; February pork bellies shed 1.55 cents to 8.55 cents a pound.
