Cruisin' 66 is cooking up fun on Saturday   Send a link to a friend

[September 19, 2007]  Come on out to Wal-Mart parking lot for the Cruisin' 66 cookout and enjoy good food and Route 66 fun. The cookout will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is designed as a fundraiser for the Cruisin' 66 group's upcoming Route 66 cruise from Atlanta to Elkhart.

For just $3, get a hamburger or hot dog with a bag of chips and a pop or water. If brats are more your thing, try a brat with a bag of chips and a pop or water for only $4.

Cruisin' 66 was formed to bring more awareness of Route 66 in Logan County and is currently planning a cruise of the route in October. The cruise will be a great opportunity to explore Logan County's Route 66 attractions and will culminate in a car show with prizes. The organization is always looking for new members, and interested parties may attend the cookout for more information.
