Soybean prices rise, wheat falls          Send a link to a friend

[September 19, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures ended mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 6 cents to $8.69 a bushel; December corn ended flat at $3.5225 a bushel; December oats lost 5 cents to $2.775 a bushel; November soybeans rose 1 cent to $9.695 a bushel.

Beef futures rose and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.68 cent to 95.65 cents a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.95 cent to $1.1645 a pound; October lean hogs fell 1.15 cent to 63.87 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.63 cents to 86.92 cents a pound.
