SPRINGFIELD -- The body of a man
was found in a wooded area near Bergen Golf Course in Springfield on
Monday. He has been identified as 53-year-old Verrell W. McKinnon
Jr. According to Sangamon County Coroner Susan Boone, McKinnon died
of natural causes.
He was reportedly homeless.
