Corn, soybean prices decline          Send a link to a friend

[September 26, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Wheat prices rose, while corn and soybean prices fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 9.5 cents to $8.8725 a bushel; December corn fell 1.75 cents to $3.7175 a bushel; December oats fell 2.25 cents to $2.815 a bushel; November soybeans declined 5.75 cents to $9.73 a bushel.

Beef futures fell and pork futures ended mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.08 cent to 97.57 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 0.18 cent to $1.1607 a pound; October lean hogs dropped 0.52 cent to 61 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.22 cents to 88.72 cents a pound.
