Llama out for a romp          Send a link to a friend

[September 28, 2007]  Law enforcement officers never know who or what they may be running down next. Friday morning’s incident was a wily llama on the loose. Midmorning on Friday, officers were alerted through 911 dispatch that there was a llama running loose in the vicinity of 1035 1450th Ave.

A citizen volunteered his trailer, and with some amusement in the process, the llama was captured north of Lincoln. It is being held until the owner can be found.

No officers, nor the llama, were injured in the process.
