Corn, Soybean Prices Decline          Send a link to a friend

[September 29, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Corn and soybean prices fell Friday, while wheat rose, on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery gained 6 cents to close at $9.39 a bushel; December corn fell 13.75 cents to $3.73 a bushel; December oats rose 4 cents to $2.8975 a bushel; November soybeans dropped 17.75 cents to $9.9125 a bushel.

Beef futures rose, while pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.05 cent to 96.95 cents a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.8 cent to $1.163 a pound; October lean hogs closed flat at 58.9 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.05 cent to 89.67 cents a pound.
