 Missouri State Highway Patrol for Wayne County, Mo., was contacted
at 6:05 p.m.Lawrence had been driving southbound on a private
roadway five miles north of Silva, Mo., about 70 miles south of St.
Louis. He lost control of a Polaris ATV, it overturned, and he was
ejected.
Lawrence was airlifted to Madison Memorial Hospital in
Fredericktown, Mo., where he was pronounced dead at 8:20 p.m. by an
emergency room doctor.
Lawrence was not wearing any safety devices.
