Agriculture Futures Trade Mixed on CBOT

[April 01, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery dropped 60 cents to $9.29 a bushel; May corn added 6.75 cents to $5.6725 a bushel; May oats rose 11 cents to $3.7125 a bushel; May soybeans declined 70 cents to $11.9725 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle dropped 0.23 cent to 87.42 cents a pound; April feeder cattle fell 1.12 cents to 99.30 a pound; April lean hogs slipped 1.03 cents to 57.07 cents a pound; May pork bellies declined 3 cents to 67.50 cents a pound.
