Agriculture Futures Mostly Rise on CBOT

[April 02, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly traded higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery lost 34 cents to $8.95 a bushel; May corn added 16.75 cents to $5.84 a bushel; May oats gained 16.75 cents to $3.88 a bushel; May soybeans rose 13.75 cents to $12.11 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle fell 0.02 cent to 87.40 cents a pound; April feeder cattle dropped 0.18 cent to 99.12 cents a pound; April lean hogs slipped 1.07 cents to 56 cents a pound; May pork bellies declined 0.43 cent to 67.07 cents a pound.
