[April 07, 2008]  EMDEN -- Leonard Krusemark, a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Logan County, recently presented a set of four Habitat children's books to Ladonna Gass, librarian at the Emden Community Library. The library opened in May of 2007. The Habitat books, written by Ronald Kidd and illustrated by Bill Farnsworth, tell an interesting story while teaching children and adults how to make a better world.

Books in the set are "Building Friends," "Doorway to the World," "Grandpa's Hammer" and "Raising the Roof."

Habitat has also donated a set of the children's books to Lincoln, Mount Pulaski, Elkhart and Atlanta libraries.
