Preachers Play Principia

[April 07, 2008]  The Preachers dropped three games to Principia over the weekend and are now 1-10 going into a doubleheader with Maryville at 2 p.m. Monday.

In Friday's 8-6 loss, Joshua Essman was 2-for-4 with 1 RBI and two runs scored, Brandon Callahan was 1-for-4 with two RBIs, and Richard Weese had two hits. Kevin Lucas was the losing pitcher.

In Saturday's first game, Derek Rucker was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Kyle Wilson went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Richard Weese was the losing pitcher in the 11-4 game.

In the second game Saturday, Dan Maricle was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Kevin Lucas was 2-for-4 with one RBI, and Alex Bond had one hit and scored two runs. Bond was the losing pitcher in the 6-5 game.

Monday's games are at home.
