Agriculture Futures Mostly Rise on CBOT

[April 09, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery added 12.75 cents to $9.34 a bushel; May corn rose 1.25 cents to $5.9125 a bushel; May oats gained 4 cents to $3.705 a bushel; May soybeans fell 3.5 cents to $12.515 a bushel.

Beef futures traded mixed and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle traded flat at 87.87 cents a pound; April feeder cattle rose 0.57 cent to 99.57 cents a pound; April lean hogs gained 0.25 cent to 59.15 cents a pound; May pork bellies added 0.92 cent to 73.97 cents a pound.
